I’m supporting the House Republican plan to cut $5 billion in waste, fraud and abuse from state government, and redirect $3.1 billion of that wasteful spending to fix our roads.
Instead of cutting waste in the state budget to fix roads, the governor wants to raise taxes that could be passed on to working families. I don’t think that’s right. We should focus on a plan that lives within our means instead of asking Michigan taxpayers and job creators to pay more.
